The Modules
 
Module A: Servicing & Maintenance - 2 Days
 
This two-day basic refrigeration course is most suitable for candidates who have a technical background. The course is particularly suitable for electrical/mechanical/technical personnel intending to enter the refrigeration industry. The course is predominantly theory and will take place in the classroom.
 
Module B: Small Split System Installation - 1 Day
 
This one-day split system installation course is most suitable for candidates who have a technical background. The course is particularly suitable for electrical/mechanical/technical personnel intending to enter the refrigeration/air conditioning industry and for personnel who have attended the first two days of our 10-day refrigeration/air conditioning course.
 
Module C: Recovery & Repair - 2 Days
 
This two-day course is designed as a continuation of Modules A & B.  The course is also suitable for personnel who have a sound knowledge of their companies’ systems, refrigerants, instruments, tools and components.  The diagnosis of faults and re-commissioning of a system after the replacement of a component or leak repair. The course is predominantly practical and will take place in the workshop.

Module F1: CITB Safe Handling of Refrigerants
  1. 2 days

Module F2: CITB Safe Handling Renewal
  1. 1 day
  2. For those wishing to renew their CITB certification (F1 & H)
 
Module G: City & Guilds 2078 Ammonia

  2. Suitable for those who have completed A & B and for suitably qualified personnel
  3. Covers:

Module H: CITB Safe Handling of Refrigerants Ammonia

Module J: CITB Refrigeration Pipework & Brazing
Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration

  2. Suitable for those with a sound knowledge of systems, equipment, instruments, tools & components

  5. pipework, high pressure implications of new refrigerants - compliance with Environmental Protection Act
  6. purge, swage and braze joints
 
Module K: Seminar on Industrial Refrigeration

This five-day course is suitable for candidates who require basic electrical knowledge and to ensure delegates understand the scope and effect of the 16th edition regulations.
